10 Minimal Website Designs for Your Inspiration

10 Minimal Website Designs for Your Inspiration

Posted by Rainey

I always enjoy looking at the work of other great designers and today I want to focus on minimal design. Now, there is certainly no shortage of minimal design roundups out there, but here are a few of my recent favorites anyway. I hope you enjoy these and please leave some of your favorites below.

Minimal to an extreme, this site explores the relationship between graphic design and web design.

An exploration of the crossing between print and web, expressed as a responsive magazine.

This site relies heavily on moving and static imagery to do the talking.   This site uses some very dynamic movement with CSS and JavaScript.

We are directors, motion designers, photographers, web designers, developers, sound designers and we give you nothing less than the most beautiful ways to tell your story.

Soup. Agency

Soup is a  single page design that utilizes a flat and minimal color palette.  The end result is a super clean website that communicates their message effectively.

We create visual experiences.
We care about details: from typography to illustration, passing through design and publishing.
We proudly believe in a digital culture.
We love our job.

With a very clean and limited yet vivid color palette, DTAILED is all about putting the focus on the content.

I (Tudor Prisăcariu) like to imagine, design & build websites / web apps / things that people enjoy using and looking at. I’m an adept of minimalism, I like the colour green and would always choose 4 over 3 & 5.

Irving & Co

Irving & Co uses imagery of their work tell their story using not a single sentence of text on the home page.

Irving & Co have a highly crafted and astute approach. We deliver design excellence, underlined with a strategic capacity to help our clients develop new design concepts or define existing strengths. We bring authenticity and substance to our work – it’s not just about style, but a marriage of sharp thinking and conviction of invention.

Chad Mazzola

Chad expresses very simply what he does and what he wants to do on the front page of his website using minimal design and no imagery.

I’m (Chad Mazzola) a designer and entrepreneur based in Cambridge, MA. I’m looking for early stage startups and independent designers and developers to collaborate with.

Bike lust alert! Yes, that is probably one of the reasons that I like this site, but it is very clean and reflects the nature of budnitz extremely well.

We believe that we create the fastest, most fun, and most beautiful urban bicycles in the world. Working exclusively in titanium, stainless steel, and cro-moly, our super-light bicycles will last a lifetime and are a blast to ride.

Fivethousand Fingers

Diving right into the work, Fivethousand Fingers makes the home page their portfolio.  I mean, what is the first link you click when visiting designer’s site, right?

We specialize in working strategically across mediums to translate a vision into concise, original communication—everyone likes stories, and we like to help tell them.

Like Fivethousand Fingers, Pollen also dives right into the work using gorgeous images and an equally nice layout to show their talent.

Pollen – an ambitious European design studio that delivers cohesive, robust brand identities that break the mould and get our clients noticed.

Simon Foster

Simon lets his work shine by restricting the site design to a minimum and color palette to black and white.

I design simple & elegant websites that respond to the size of your screen.
